Out From Under
"Out From Under," a new track off Britney's upcoming studio album Circus, is reportedly a cover Joanna Pacitti's version, which appeared on the Bratz movie soundtrack last year.
According to Cheiron-Music.com, Britney re-recorded the track with Guy Sigsworth as the producer. Britney credits Sigsworth in a recent interview, revealing that he worked on two ballads with Britney for Circus, "My Baby" being the other one.
The site continues to say that "Circus," Britney's second single off Circus, is NOT produced by Max Martin despite reports, but by Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly & Benny Blanco! Dr. Luke has worked with Britney before, including producing a track titled "All The Way," in which he describes it as "a feel good, upbeat song." Unfortunately the track did not make the final cut.
But don't think Max Martin got the boot entirely. "If U Seek Amy" is reportedly written by Martin, as well as Alexander Kronlund, Shellback and Savan Kotecha. Martin is also singing backing vocals to the "If You Seek Amy" track.
You can download/listen to the original song Britney is rumored covering by clicking.

Not that bad of a song, it will be much better with Britney’s vocals!
***Who do you think the song is about? Kevin? Justin?***
You decide!

"Womanizer" Chart Updates
The song has slipped one spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart to #5, just behind Pink's "So What" coming in at #4.
"Womanizer" also remains in the top 5 on iTunes' Top Songs chart, coming in at #3 just behind Taylor Swift's "You're Not Sorry" at #2 followed by Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy" at #1.
Fortunately "Womanizer" has moved up 3 spots on Mediabase, which measures radio spins, placing at #11.
In fact, "Womanizer" has already placed higher on Mediabase then some of Britney's other biggest hits including "Gimme More" (#16), "Stronger" (#14), and "I'm A Slave 4 U" (#18).

Britney Agrees to Permanent Conservatorship

Britney Spears may be comebacking like a madwoman, but the court thinks she can still use some guidance on that road to redemption.
The popster's conservatorship arrangement with father Jamie Spears was made permanent today, with no objection coming from the 26-year-old "Womanizer" warbler. If the terms of the deal remain the same, her dad will continue to oversee her estate, finances, legal affairs and medical care along with attorney Andrew Wallet.
"The court finds the proposed permanent conservatorship is necessary and appropriate," said Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been presiding over the Spears saga for the past year, at a Tuesday status hearing.
And while Britney was no fan of the arrangement back when it was imposed Feb. 1, her attorney informed the court today that his client had requested he not argue with Goetz's ruling.
Besides, it's not as if permanent means forever.
"The permanent conservatorship doesn't have a set date to expire," court public information spokeswoman Vania Stuelp tells E! News.
"In order to make it go away, someone has to petition the court. It was supposed to expire on Dec. 31. It's not anymore."
In the meantime, an evaluation detailing Spears' psychological fortitude has been completed and will remain sealed, Goetz said. Another status hearing has been set for Dec. 22.
But while this may all be as-expected news for Britney's camp, it doesn't bode well for the lawsuit against her filed by former manager Johnny Wright.
Saying that Spears' "capacity issue remains open and has not been resolved one way or another," Goetz ruled earlier today that Wright's attorneys are not allowed to depose Spears, whom he says owes thousands in unpaid commissions, until the conservatorship ends.
"We think it's reasonable," Wright's lawyer, Clay Townsend, who had been hoping to have Brit sit for a deposition Nov. 17, tells E! News. "Being on the cover of OK magazine, signing a big contract with AEG to go on a world tour, going on Good Morning America—gosh, it seems fairly reasonable to try to do a deposition in late November. It's not like she is in the hospital and we are dying to go down and take her deposition."
Instead, they will have to speak with ruler-of-the-roost Jamie Spears next month.
"She seemed to be doing so well, that we thought it was not unreasonable," Townsend added. "My client Johnny Wright still has great affection for Britney. He worked with Britney for a long time in the early days. So that last thing that we would want to do was to harass her."
Goetz said that she will revisit the deposition issue Feb. 2.

Britney Spears to perform live on Good Morning America
Britney Spears will perform live in Bryant Park on ABC's Good Morning America on December 2, to promote her sixth studio album Circus, which drops that day. "Everybody wanted her - she was the big get - but 'GMA' and ABC outfoxed the 'Today' and NBC," sources tell Pagesix. Britney has yet to decide if she'll do an interview. The performance on December 2, which is also Britney's 27th birthday, would be her first live performance, not involving lip synching, since the break down of her marriage in 2006. Britney's last live performance at MTV VMAs in 2007 was a disaster as she appeared to sleepwalk on stage failing to even lip synch correctly. Britney Spears is scheduled to perform Womanizer, the first to be released single from Circus, in UK in December on X-Factor. A 90- minute film produced by MTV and tentatively titled For the Record, documenting Britney Spears return to show biz with the upcoming release of her sixth studio album Circus will air on November 30 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Mistrial Declared in Britney Case
"It's clear to me you worked very hard and I appreciate your time and effort," the judge told the jurors after they affirmed they were hopelessly deadlocked on a verdict.
It was revealed following the court's announcement that the jury's consistent 10-2 votes on all five ballots had been leaning toward acquitting the pop star of the charges, with only two holdouts feeling she should be found guilty.
Jury foreman, Gary Moy, 45, told reporters after today's announcement that he was one of the two that had consistently voted to convict Britney and said he felt the remaining 10 jurors were biased toward acquitting her because of her superstar status.
"The prosecution did a fine job presenting the evidence," said Moy.
The prosecutor will announce later today whether or not they intend on a retrial, but Brit's attorney is betting they'll leave while they're ahead.
"Can you imagine re-prosecuting a misdemeanor?" he asked after today's verdict. "They don't even re-prosecute murder trials."
Flanagan also said he felt that the prosecution was vindictive of Britney, given her superstar status.
"They offered her a chance to buy her way out of the case," he said about an earlier rejected plea deal. "But she wanted to be treated like an ordinary person and have her case heard by a jury."
At 10:35 am on Tuesday, the jury told the judge that they were still deadlocked, and he then gave each attorney five minutes to once again run down their side of the story for the panel of eight women and four men in the Van Nuys, Calif., courthouse.
The prosecutor in the case, Michael Amerian, reminded the jury that, as late as a week before the parking lot incident, Britney had actually signed a legal document claiming she was a resident of California. He also claimed that, even if the jury allows that Brit is indeed a Louisiana resident, there is no proof she had a valid Louisiana license at the time.
Countering these claims, Brit's attorney, J. Michael Flanagan, repeated his assertion that Britney had been intending to move back home to Louisiana in August 2007, when she accidentally hit another vehicle in an L.A. parking lot, and that she only stayed in California to fight the custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
He also pointed out that the pop star's father, Jamie Spears, testified under oath that his daughter did indeed have a Louisiana license at the time of the accident.
"I want to escape this case," Flanagan told OK! after giving his second closing argument. "I've tried about 500 cases and I've never seen something like this, I've seen hung juries before but never have I had to give additional closing arguments for a case like this... They should have declared this a mistrial a day ago. I looked at the jury and they did not look happy. I did not see a lot of happy faces."
